Agathla, not Ship RockHi Liba,
This is actually a photo of Agathla (also known as El Capitan), some 80 miles to the west of Ship Rock, just south of Monument Valley, and just north of Kayenta, AZ. Some call it Ship Rock's, uglier little brother. The route up this one is very devious, loose, and scary. Does not get climbed anywhere near as often as Ship Rock.

Agathla is by Kayenta.

Re: Agathla, not Ship RockSorry for a late response (just got back from a trip). yes, those photos look like Agathla. I took it a long time ago and thought that I shot the photo south of Shiprock town while driving towards Gallup… will leave it as ? now and will try to clarify in the future
