Sometimes we were lucky to have a shower, like this in the Stara Planina (Balkan Mountains) – freezing water only, 1979. External-frame backpacks had been in in CE Europe for just a couple of years.

Mixed feelings

I've mixed feelings about this obscene scene having butted inside your canvas, especially as there's this external frame pack. So Dmitry, if you find it out of place, don't hesitate to dump it.
