Thank you for the vote and the picture comment. I hope you didn't get nailed by all that rain you had recently. I saw that New Hampshire got hit pretty good. A gal that works with me happened to be back in New England all of last week.
Thanks Sean. Speaking of "there's no stopping you", I really could apply that to you since you have put up so many great pages for your area.
Mt. Rainier has a way of captivating a person as it is such a magnificient mountain so I thought I'd highlight a couple places where great views are available. High Rock is the other spot.
Hi Radek, thanks for your comments and vote. This is one I did a few years back but for a conditioning hike it is a good one if you do it on a clear day. Conditioning? You and Shirley never need conditioning, you are always out doing stuff so you stay in condition. Good job on the Three Queens page.
I can see how some people would complain that this is a "minor" peak not worthy of taking up space on SP, but I think you make the case for spending time on it quite well. Very thorough job.
Thank you Steve not only for your vote but for your comments.
I climbed up another peak with a heckkuva view of Mt. Rainier this weekend, Mt. Aix but then, on a clear day in the northwest, that monster mountain can be seen from just about anywhere.
BTW, I grew up in the No. Hollywood-Sun Valley area, not that far from Glendale.

Untitled CommentMatter of fact, there were a few Shriner's hanging around that day. You know, those red hats with the tassels are dead give-aways.

That mountain is like a blind spot in that vehicle called my climbing life.
