Outstanding prologue

Your quiet joy bled right through your beautiful prose, reminded me of my Willi Unsoeld quote in my profile. I salute you and your accomplishment./ 10/10

Re: Outstanding prologue

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Unsoeld seems like a fascinating thinker but i can't find any books actually written by him, do you know of any? and if not do you know which of his various biographies are worth reading?

Good point solo of glacier early!!!

Thanks for the nice write up... After reading many report on here I just did that same route solo myself but one day up & back -left trailhead very early and since it's been so warm the approach was super quick!!! Anyways, I just wanted to point out a very good point you made "being solo while unlikely any snow bridge collapse would be.." That is so true and I actually retreated from my summit bit, eventhough I probably could of done it, for one reason & one reason only: exactly that to be off the Glacier before noon. Again such an important point you bring, while solo climbers probably shouldn't be on Glaciers if we happen to accidentally do it LOL it is so important to do it early in the day and be of before that sunshine
