Every time you put up one of these Tibet pages, I think that Tibet must be the most beautiful place in the world. Man, are you ever fortunate to visit these places. For all the hard work, sacrifice, good luck that goes into your time in such remote, beautiful places, congratulations, and thank you for sharing them with us.
I agree when you say Tibet must be the most beautiful place in the world. My favorite part of Tibet is the east. I hope to submit some pages about peaks there later on.
of this unknown ( at least to me ) chinese peaks.
And what a wonderful pictures!
I think this peak and range is unknown to most.
and another unknown peak. How many mountains in the world ?!
Too many mountains...Not enough time.
You love remote places don't you ? It's seems to be a damn odyssey to get just close to this mountain ! Thanks again for sharing your wild adventures.
I do love remote places! I'd rather climb one of those unknown beauties in the middle of nowhere, than a dozen mountains which you can find in guide books.
And yes - just getting to these peaks is a little adventure in itself.
i cannot get enough of your pictures from this sirengou area. it would be awesome to read a TR from your trip(s)
thanks for sharing your talent and adventure with those of us who are not that fortunate...yet ;)
This area is so beautiful and the photos only give a little hint of the true grandeur of the place.
When I finally have to take a longer break I will hopefully have the inspiration to write something about some of the climbs/trips/adventures.
But that's for later - off again to these wonderful areas in a couple of days!
What a "good for the soul" place to be. Magnificent Desolation: Buzz Aldrin. Great pictures.
Yes, you're right. It was a wonderful place to be. A lot of desolation there for sure. I loved it :)
Beautiful mountain, wonderful sceneries, awesome photos!
Tanks VV! I had a very nice time there, even if I failed to reach the main summit.
What a beautiful place to immerse yourself in. Truly remarkable photography as well. Thanks for again sharing stories of these wonderful places that I will most likely only be able to dream about.
Thanks for the kind words.
The time in the west of Tibet, in the fall of 2007 was great. When I find the time (and when back home) I may add another half a dozen of high peaks from this area.
... of your amazing adventures. Wonderful page.
