Another beauty

Every time you put up one of these Tibet pages, I think that Tibet must be the most beautiful place in the world. Man, are you ever fortunate to visit these places. For all the hard work, sacrifice, good luck that goes into your time in such remote, beautiful places, congratulations, and thank you for sharing them with us.

Re: Another beauty

Thanks!
I agree when you say Tibet must be the most beautiful place in the world. My favorite part of Tibet is the east. I hope to submit some pages about peaks there later on.

Maaan !

You love remote places don't you ? It's seems to be a damn odyssey to get just close to this mountain ! Thanks again for sharing your wild adventures.

Re: Maaan !

I do love remote places! I'd rather climb one of those unknown beauties in the middle of nowhere, than a dozen mountains which you can find in guide books.
And yes - just getting to these peaks is a little adventure in itself.

Re: your tibet pages amaze me

Thanks.
This area is so beautiful and the photos only give a little hint of the true grandeur of the place.
When I finally have to take a longer break I will hopefully have the inspiration to write something about some of the climbs/trips/adventures.
But that's for later - off again to these wonderful areas in a couple of days!

Magnificent Desolation

What a "good for the soul" place to be. Magnificent Desolation: Buzz Aldrin. Great pictures.

Yes, you're right. It was a wonderful place to be. A lot of desolation there for sure. I loved it :)

Re: Amazing page!

Tanks VV! I had a very nice time there, even if I failed to reach the main summit.

Re: Stunning

Thanks for the kind words.
The time in the west of Tibet, in the fall of 2007 was great. When I find the time (and when back home) I may add another half a dozen of high peaks from this area.
