To bad about your attempt to summit Hvanndalshnúkur, but as they say, the mountain will always be there. Although I guess there is a chance that this particular one might not be, considering its explosive disposition and all. New Zealand sounds awesome though, it's on my travel wish list, I hope your trip there is successful!

Your site is wonderful!!! We just bought tix to Iceland and now we just can't wait to get on the plane. We will be mtn biking the island, but our butts will need a break just when it is time to climb the volcano! :o) thanx again....
