Like a volcano which just erupted...Beautiful!!
Fantasticna slika, Sasha!!!
This evening color gave Skrlatica it's name because Slovenians call it skrlatna barva (color).
Hvala Samer!!! :-)
Another outstanding image--this will be a tough week for POW--so many very deserving from so many fine photographers. Thanks for sharing this wonderful image! --mark d.
Thanks very much Mark! It was fabulous evening. Cheers!
Skrlatica looks like the setting sun itself! Outstanding pic.
Skrlatna barva - szkarlatna barwa na moj jezik :)
Thanks very much Kamil! I didn't know Polish and Slovenian versions are so similar :-) Cheers!
No doubt, it's a masterpiece of alpine photography. Have you taken this shot from Mavrinc,Robicje or V. Kumleh. Regarding Triglav and Škrlatica you have indebted us, dear Sasha.
Thank you dear Andrej! Shot was taken from the ridge between Vrsic and Sovna Glava, near that bunker close to Postarska Koca. If you look carefully you can even spot the summit cross on Skrlatica!
I'm glad I could contribute in putting the Julians Alps on the map of world because they belong there and that in the process I get to know Vid and you, hopefully one day in person too! Cheers! Sasa
Now how did you find this motif, Sasa! We are all passing by Prisojnik, but Skrlatica doesn't appear just like this to all of us. Bravo!!!
Thanks very much Vid! I don't know, it found me :-) I've been wandering around looking for the great vantage point and there it was!
Another great shot Aleksandar!!
Thanks very much Radek!
A great picture!
I've added this great image to the Worth Another Look II custom object. If that's a problem, please let me know. --mark d.
Of course not Mark! Cheers!
How did I miss this one.
