Slims Fire on Indian Hill

The Slims fire in north central Idaho burned about 12,500 acres in July and August. Here two columes converge on the Indain Hill lookout, visible as the white speck on the summit. Crews had wrapped the structue in foil in an attempt to save the building. The building survived despite expectations. July 2003
