Snow Moon game trail

I took a brief pause during the High Traverse Route to Snow Moon Basin to take a look back at the marvelous high game trail that defines the route. Three prominent peaks are visible just below and to the right of center. From left to right: a high point on the Ptarmigan Wall, locally referred to as Ptarmigan Spire; the broad summit of Ipasha Peak; and finally, Old Sun Glacier is visible on the east face of Mount Merritt. Mount Henkel is visible at far right, with Many Glacier Hotel and Swiftcurrent Lake far below. September 10, 2013
