Soustal near Lauterbrunnen/ Switzerland

The wonderful and quiet Soustal, laying on an altitude of 1600m and 700 meters above the main valley, the Lauterbrunnental in the Bernese Alps. The bike trail to this valley is magnificent and leads through rocks and tunnels(!). It continues by a marvelous singletrail to Grütschalp with deep abysses. The photo was taken at 12th October, 2006 during my mountainbike tour Stechelberg - Lauterbrunnen - Sulwald - Soustal - Grütschalp - Allmendhubel - Mürren - Gimmelwald - Trachsellauenen - Stechelberg, one of the most beautiful tours I have ever made.
