Dean,

I've always wanted to visit Markleeville, CA.
It must be a secluded yet awesome place, with
all those vast stretches of peaks and lakes.
A person could get lost over there!

Isn't this Pickett Peak?

I just climbed Pickett Peak today. This looks an awful much like Pickett Peak and NOT Hawkins Peak.

While it may look similar to Pickett, it is indeed Hawkins. Dennis and I came off the peak from the right side and passed underneath the south side which gives you this view. My GPS pic taken on top of this peak shows it to be Hawkins. I have more pics that supplement this one.

I guess they do look alike. They are located so close to each other.
