South Mountain (UT)

If you get to the cul de sac at the highest end of the "Outlook Ridge" development, you will see a dirt road that heads into the canyon. Two posts remain from what once was a gate that most likely barred access to vehicles. However, there is no actual gate anymore but this road will lead you to the best route up (aka ridge two) to the summit ridgeline. 3-6-10
