South Thunder, upper Thunder Bowl.

This photo was taken from the summit of North Thunder looking south west across the Thunder Bowl. South Thunder is left, Lone in the middle in the distance. After traversing from North to South Thunder, I headed down the ridge in the foreground which separates the upper Bells Canyon drainage from the Thunder Bowl. That ridge was actually really pleasant! I'm surprised more people don't use it to ascend South Thunder from the Upper Bells Reservoir. Not too rugged, perhaps class II. September 8, 2012.
