Calamity PeakCalamity Peak is the large summit in the background. Calamity is just west of Bare Mountain, which is just out of view to the left.
So why didn't you visit Bare Mountain while there? Boo hoo! Brian doesn't like my mountains.

Re: Calamity PeakHey, I missed your page on that, oops (although your summit photo is now legendary on SP). I think you know by now that I frequent the mountains you have pages on quite a bit. But on Siouxon this day, I actually was playing hooky from work and got a late start. Did almost 19 miles and over 5000 feet that day and finished in the dark so I just didn't have it in me to do another. Neat area though that I'll have to get back to. Perhaps there is a Bare day in the future for me. Maybe I'll have to name the unnamed peak I accidentally climbed this day Full Frontal Peak.
