lake at the bottom of the cirque, and
stared with my mouth OPEN!

Re: It looks....It reminds me to a place in Valsesia, not for the shape but for the atmosphere.
It's vallone del forno on the south flank of Corno Bianco.
I'm sorry of not having a picture of it.
In place like this I'd like to simply sit down and wonder, just like your rock.

Re: YES ...I can do that, Marco! This photograph is 34 years old, older than several viewers. I think that it deserves a place in your album. The rock is quartzite. It's a remote
area of Tooele County in Utah, where two of my brothers were born.
