Southwest Ridge
At approximately 6000' elevation, this is the area where potential Silvertip Mountain summiters leave the southwest ridge en route to the west ridge.
The route leads up this meadow section of the southwest ridge until near the rocky bluff, then side-traverses steep meadow slopes around the east side of the bluff.
