Spider-Formidable Col affords...
Spider-Formidable Col affords views that include nearly all of Stage 2 of the Ptarmigan Traverse. Here, we look from the W notch of the col, SW to the snow traverse that leads around the cirque to Yang Yang Lakes, on the sunlit bench at the left edge of the photo. Our own party camped much closer, on the rock rib at the bottom edge of this photo.
