So did you guys rope up at any point when you climbed this mountain? How would you rate the crux moves? I'm thinking about checking it out this summer.
Thanks! We did a rappel from the summit, but could have downclimbed. After hauling the rope all that way, it was a nice rap. The crux moves were solid class 4 with maybe an easy 5.2 above the split on the west(back side)
I had the same impression, but after talking with Don Scharfe at RMO, we tried climbing through the split to the west side as I tried to describe in my route info and it was only class 4.
