Spruce traps

To all of you with the big open mountains:This is what the rest of us have to deal with.This trek over to Shepards Tooth was the toughest I've ever done.I was in up to my neck buried in these spruce traps.It took 3 hours just to pull myself through the mile rt trek.When all was said and done,I felt pretty good.Despite the pain and agony,I'll be back for more.I think we all suffer from this....JW
