Very surprised to see this route listed as class 2 anywhere. Even with careful route finding, following the cairns, my party of 4 experienced scramblers was unable to keep it at a class 2 grade. Still a wicked fun route though! Also, the direct variation at the bottom of the north ridge (as opposed to sneaking around to the west on talus) is very slippery solid class 3/(4?) for about 20 feet before leading to rock with more copious handholds and fun class 3 climbing. I wonder if there used to be snow covering the beginning of this climb?
