Starting through the burn...
The road accessing the actual starting point to climb Divide Mountain heads through the Red Eagle Burn. Route-finding is a bit confusing because new roads were built so as to provide fire-fighting and post-fire access—having everything covered in snow doesn't exactly help, either!
