Steam Mill Peak

Steam Mill Peak on the left seen from the east. This is one of the few high peaks in the range that is easily accessible in winter. It can be climbed from Steam Mill Canyon to the south or Hells Kitchen Canyon to the northeast

Hells Kitchen Canyon ?

I'm expressing my satisfaction in your
"Bear River Range" A/R Page. It is really
interesting to read about the caves and
flowers. When I was growing up in Tooele
County, my friend told me about Minnetonka
Cave in Idaho. He always had a big smile
when he told me of his experiences. I
ended up spending an entire summer at
Lehman Cave in eastern Nevada. I like
the way you constructed your page, and
can tell you really put a lot of work
into it. Thank you, Melinda! - Larry

Re: Hells Kitchen Canyon ?

Thanks Larry. Utah has more geographical features named Hells Kitchen than any other state. Somehow that doesn’t surprise me. Minnetonka Cave is open for tours during the summer. The range is full of caves but I am going to keep the little known ones secret. The page was a lot of work but I like this area and know it well.
