Steens Mountain/ Alvord Desert

This is a photo for the south end of the Alvord Desert looking north to the Steens Mountain. You can drive up the mountain from the west which is pretty boring, but it comes with a great view once you get there. The east slpoe is much steeper and a ton more interesting.

I love the area, unfortunately when I went over 3 years ago I only had a film camera. I'm going back this summer with a digital, and I'm going to take a ton of pictures.
