Beautiful
Beautiful hike, trail is pretty spotty, but you can see the peak most of the way. Lots of cattle about midway up. The cliffs at the upper end of Steep Hollow make an excellent backdrop for a lunch or snack.
This is by far the best was to get on top of Doubletop. Steep Hollow is one of two ways I've been to the summit and is probably the most efficient. There are some good camping spots at the back of the hollow just before the big elevation gain to the top.
