Stevens Creek

Stevens Creek Mount Rainier National Park, August 2009 With its boulder and tree clogged channels it is still worth a stop along the Stevens Canyon Road even when the water is down in the summer. Stevens Creek runs through Stevens Canyon and was named after Hayward Stevens who along with P.B. Von Trump made the first recorded successful ascent of Mount Rainier in 1870.
