UN 13325Hi Sarah
How did you get to the top of 13325? From Boulder Gulch to the south? How was the climb to the top of 13325? Did that too involve nasty scree or was that much easier?

Re: UN 13325Yes, I climbed 13325 from Boulder Gulch to the south but only because I wanted to climb it and Storm Peak in the same day. We found a 3rd class way to gain the south ridge on its east side. I don't remember it being particularly loose by San Juan standards. The ridge itself is easy. However, an easier way to climb 13325 is from the Boulder Gulch TH (which appears on TI maps) to the north. Follow the trail and then climb the NE ridge which involves nothing more than some easy scrambling here and there.

Re: UN 13325Thanks for the info. If I ever go to Silverton again, I will consider doing 13325. I have seen Storm Peak from many different angles. Very impressive peak but not something that I want to tackle. Your pictures confirm that.
