It's a nice tree!And you took a beautiful picture of it. I find it amusing that you posted three pictures. You captured the tree very well. If I am to decide which picture pleases me most, it's perhaps this one. Still, a matter of taste.

I had made eight(!) photos of this tree, each time with a different camera modus (there's also a version in sepia that I like very much!). I had posted five of them on Facebook and had a lot of very positive response. Then, just this evening, I noticed the album "Beautiful trees" on SP with public attachment, and thought, why not post those photos which are the most different from each other and see which one the SPers will chose? It's interesting...:-)

Re: I think...Thanks a lot, Marc! As I told Vid just now, it was meant a bit as an experiment...Of course I wouldn't have put these on SP if I hadn't noticed the existence of the "Beautiful trees" album. But then I thought, why not - after all, there's something it fits to!

You wouldn't believe what I was able to capture only an hour later...just as I was starting to walk down the road leading from Maria Plain to Salzburg right below, there were two airplanes, forming a cross right above the pilgrimage church with their streaks, the streaks being red from the setting sun!! I don't know how well this photo would fit into SummitPost, but I might post it all the same...
