Summit of Cerro Toco

Summit of Cerro Toco

Once we put the hardest part behind us, the summit ridge is a gentle, almost flat, traverse of about 100 yards to the summit at 5,650 m. Great view from the summit. Behind is the almost perfectly conical Licancabur volcano and the Bolivian Andes in the foreground.
