The summit of Kala Pattar about 18500 feet up. Not really so high since the valley floor is at about 17000 feet altitude, but a nice decent hike anyway. The occasional 35 mph wind gusts did make me a bit nervous because there was a significant drop-off just to the left. The ridge keeps going up the south face of Pumo Ri in the background, but it gets a bit dicey past this point. Exposure and all, you know...
