first exploration of this area ...started from (#1) Matterhorn Drive TH on snowshoes, attained S P Peak, then followed county line from S P Peak to point 8102 on a beautiful sunny mild day.

nice snowshoePerfect after school snowshoe with my son Sam. We were pleasantly surprised to find that little log shelter at the exact moment in a snowstorm when we had to stop to put on more clothes.

Lots of timesI ski Summit Park at least twice a week in the winter because I live very close to it. It's a great hike in the summer, also. It's one of the best places to ski tour with your dog.
