Summit view

Summit view

Summit view looking west. Peak 7071 is almost hidden, but the summit knob sticks up above the mesa in the foreground. Peak 7071 may be the most difficult ranked peak in Colorado and is appears to be unclimbed. The south face (not visible here) drops directly to the Yampa River and is four hundred feet higher and about as vertical as the Diamond on Longs Peak, but is made of very soft sandstone.
