Taken from the western base of Disappointment Cleaver, this shows two impressive features. GLACIAL features, that is! Ingraham Flats was left far below. The altitude here is approximately 12,300 feet. That's 14,411' Columbia Crest above, and trailing off to the left is the upper part of the Ingraham Glacier. Do you see the seracs at the upper right, near the Emmons glacier's bergschrund???(Scanned from slide-8/21/84)
