Great ...

I remember what this mountain looked like
pre-1980. Coming up on 40 years since the
eruption ... holy crap, what happened to those
40 years ???

It goes fast, doesn't it Larry! It's crazy there are still a lot of climbers who were able to summit pre-eruption. In another 40 years there won't be many left. I wish I could have seen it before the blast, but it's still a beautiful mountain!

Thank you very much sir! I love it when mother nature gives you a gift like this. I was just going to get some exercise and look what happened! I never get tired of views like this. It's what keeps me heading back to the mountains over and over and over.... and over again! ;)
