Sunrise from just below the South Summit

Sunrise from the south-east ridge, just below the south summit on 19 May 2009. This is the exact spot where the Irish climber Martin Byrne collapsed with cerebral oedema on his descent a few hours later. He was rescued by a large number of climbers and sherpas, notably the Croatian ladies for administering dex and Willie Benegas for dragging him down.
