WHERE this is. It's pretty though! Did you make an attempt on Shuksan? I have an uncle living in Easton ... have to visit him sometime. Your user name - reminds me of lilies at Mount Rainier N. P. -Please take care on those peaks!!!

Yes, it is quite barren. No trees, mostly rock and bits of grass here and there. It is a wonder anything lives there! The sunset colors are pretty true - an odd softness to a harsh area.
