Surprise Lake
From the ridgeline above Warm Lake, you get this view of the first lake you hit on the trail up from Conrad Meadows (down beyond the drainage to the left of the lake). It is 6 miles from where you park your vehicle to the lake and Surprise Lake can also be used for camping prior to climbing Curtis-Gilbert Peak. The lake is popular with the horsey crowd so be aware of that.
