It's a pitty...

...that you put that blue copyright with your name on such beautiful pictures. Who will steal you pictures in such a low resolution?

Re: It's not a pitty :-)

I don't understand Vid why it is such a thorn in the eye, that little insurance logo?! Advantages of that logo are far more useful than that little aesthetical disadvantage. Here are few reasons why we should put our logo on. Pics of this size cannot be used in print but people copy them on their disks and some post on the internet. I've found my pics on many places and no one ever asked me if it is OK to use them. At first I didn’t think about this, my brain didn’t work on this level. Then I started to wonder about that and decided to put it. So, if you can't stop copping you can at least show who the author is. I understand that some people don't care where their pics end up but I care and at least I can make sure that my sign is there. If someone has a will to crop it away let it be. This is the only thing we can do and let’s not ignore the imperfect world we live in. Did you ever think Vid that many people have lot of your pics in their collections now? And no one but you knows that you are the author/owner. Your private work, the result of your love for mountains and photography and hard walking hours in the mountains is all over the world. Don’t you care that it is known who the author/owner is? Why do painters put their signature on their paintings? Why is author’s logo on every product today? Is our work not worth to have our signature on it? You bet it is! If you ask me everyone should put it, on the pics of whatever quality! Who is the author/owner is important and it has to be known and respected. But as I said Vid I understand that some people really don’t care where their works goes and if others claim it to be theirs but can you totally ignore my points? If we share them for free we should at least put our logo on it. So Gusina, my opinion is that you have to put it, especially on the pics of such quality!

Sasa, I must admit that I fully agree with you. If only this one would be a little smaller and perhaps in compatible colours to the great scenery.
