This was a fun afternoon hike. I went up the regular trail and then hiked down the quarry trail after climing another small peak to the South of Table Rock. The rocks on the south in the quarry are quite interesting and I'm sure are climed quite often. there was a lot of deer and even a herd of antelope. I'm sure I'll be back many times.
My friends couldn't believe that I run table rock. They don't get out much.
Many times, up, down, sideways, you name it. I lived in Boise from 1999-2001. This was my standard "gotta get some exercise" hikes. Quick and close.
Good place close to Boise to get a little exercise, gain some elevation, and see some unique views of the valley. I've done this one several times...
Nice view of the valley from the top.
Done this one so many times I can't keep track. Great hike! Look for places to boulder too.
I've climbed table rock many times. It is a good, short, and somewhat challenging run/mountainbike. The views of Boise and surrounding areas are great. Night runs are fun here as well.
I've hiked this one about 20 times. One spring I ran up it from the Old Pen once a week.
Was on vacation and looking for a good short and difficult jog. Turned out to be perfect. Next time I'll bring my mountain bike, cool views of the city from the summit as well...it was interesting passing a vineyard on the way up.
