Taken at sunset, this view is of Torre del Hoyo de Liordes (2472m) from the Refuge Diego Mella. Down below is the narrow Canal de Asotin, which is the route between Vega Liordes and the Rio Cares. The area around the Refuge Diego Mella is one of the most dramatic areas of the Picos. July 2002.
