Wow, if I would have known that in December 2004! During our 6 week NZ trip we were for some days in Kaikoura, and that would have been a nice trip.

But I hope to be there again not to far from now.

Iain, Congratulations on finding and summiting this often forgotten gem. It was one of Ed Hillary's earliest climbs. You've got some good photos there but they're "hidden" in the photos link on the left of the page. Put one up as the signature photo and put some more on the main page. This mountain deserves the best presentation you can manage. It would definitely rate four stars if only there was more than text on the main page.

I recently adopted this page. I just added new photos, external links, lat/lon coordinates, several maps, gpx logs and a route description as well as a new history section.
