Ten - Four  Sucess!

Took my motorcycle most of the way up. We'll call this one a "one'n'dun".

Northeast/East Ridge  Sucess!

I tried out this new route and it went well except for the endless thick brush. I had to replace my pants after the branches tore too many holes.
On the way out, it got dark and the fog settled in. For the last two miles I had about 10 - 15 feet of visibility. Had to hold my headlamp down low to see the road surface. It was so thick it was even tough to drive my truck back down to Hwy 2.

Ten Four  Sucess!

I did this one with Dean and Ken. Our route required a little bit of improvisation and we had no on the ground beta for it. It turned out to be a bushwhack and there was some sketchy snow but we made it and made it out so all is well that ends well. Ken and I were both very impressed that Dean did this as a daytrip with the long drive from the Tri-Cities on either end of our lengthy bushwhack.

Northeast & East Ridges  Sucess!

Solo snowshoeing trip. I would recommend this approach to anyone attempting Ten-Four Mountain... but only if 3-4' deep snowpack is above 3500' elevation. No brush or blowdown problems due to snowpack. I used snowshoes, one trekking pole, and one ice axe. Low clouds prevented outward views where they would otherwise be available. This successful summit meant a lot to me because Ten-Four Mountain is the closest P2K to my childhood home/hometown.
