Tenaya Creek Canyon

Tenaya Creek Canyon

View Northeast from Half dome. See if you can spot Cathedral Peak, Echo Peaks, Tenaya Peak, and Mt. Dana (and feel free to ID more peaks, I don't have time but there are a lot here!)

North Dome (left),

Clouds Rest(right), Olmsted Point, Mt. Hoffmann
to the left of Tenaya Lake, Tresidder Peak to
the right of the lake, (I don't see Dana).

That looks like Ragged Peak & Mount Conness in the background! You had a clear day to view peaks!! Awesome.

Re: North Dome (left),

Look at the full size picture and you should see Dana. Look along the left slope of Cloud's Rest, just as you get to the horizon. In the distance you will see the north side of Dana, it is darker due to it's distance.

Re: North Dome (left),

You can also see Cathedral poking up between Tenaya peak and Tressider. Echo Peaks to the right of that..

Also the peak on the left is Mt. Watkins. North Dome is behind me in this photo.

Re: North Dome (left),

Right! I need more practice - it's based on a
learning curve. Seems like autumn would be the
perfect time to scale Half Dome; after the
fires are mopped up. Awesome view of Tenaya
Canyon, they don't call it "the Bermuda
Triangle of Yosemite" for nothin'. Nice pic!!!
