any info?

Do you have any route info. you could post about Thor's backside... or at least relate to me... e.g. steepness, what line, rockfall danger etc. That would be a great help.

Re: any info?

Sorry for taking so long to reply.

I just returned from my second, and more successful, expedition to Thor.

The backside is accessible from the spine on the climber's right. I can send you a pic if requested.

There is a technical climb (I don't know the rating - I'm a caver not a climber) near the bottom of the Lion's Head, followed by a 2,000 scree slope to the summit.

Rockfall danger seemed minimal. Just remember, dry lichen good - wet lichen BAD!

We set a new (unofficial) WR for the longest rappel - over 4,000 ft!

Please visit www.whitewaterunderground.com for more info.
