The base of the switchbacks from Trail Camp. The moon is setting at Trail Crest @ 13777'. It looks like an easy hike after you just climb over the rocks in the foreground and walk up, until you realize those little specks to the left of the snow, in the center of the picture, are people. This is where you gain over 1700' in a little over an hour.
