The Cradle from my camp on...

The Cradle from my camp on July 24, 1999. My route went up the slope above the little tree at right center. Once on the South Ridge I followed the steep snow slope on the backside ot the summit.

No flat campsites?

Is it just an illusion or is your tent really on a 30degree slope?

Hah, that's funny. I am a pretty strange fellow but even I wouldn't pitch a tent on a 30-degree slopee. I was standing on a rock when I took this so perhaps that's what's throwing you off.
