The Crestones, in all their beauty, on an early August morning. The Peak's west (highest) summit is on the right, the eastern summit is center, and the Crestone Needle is on the left. This picture is looking toward the Crestones from Kit Carson Avenue, an extraordinary ledge system that provides easy access to Kit's south side.
