This was an exciting read. Next time you go exploring where you might find an arch bring a laser ranger for easy distance measuring.

I drive along when I come back from the Tetons looking at these desert peaks and wonder what they are about.
I'm more intrigued now. Looks saweet like a rare issolated uplift of sandstone sweetness.
I may investigate some more.
