The Easton glacier in June,...

The Easton glacier in June, 2000, from the base of the Roman Wall (~9700') at about 8:30am. If you look closely, you can see the route extending from the Railroad Grade (prominent rib projecting from trees down in Sulfer Creek in upper left corner to a prominent rock patch in the upper center area) across the less crevassed portions of the Easton to near the drop off (central right edge of photo), then curving up the closest ridge on the glacier (just beyond the shadow in the foreground), delineated by an array of ascending climbers.
