Yosemite Falls are shown here. Like many waterfalls in Yosemite, Yosemite Falls soar above Yosemite Valley, dropping thousands of gallons of water per minute roughly 1000 feet into the Merced River. Taken on a particularly cloudy and foggy day in Yosemite Valley/mid May 2008
