The " Fenstertürmchen " , on the Rappenwand !

" Fenstertürmchen " ... A very laughing name, for a rock ! For translating him, we can say in english : " the windows-tower " ! Very picturesque and remarkable, the all rocky formation of the Rappenwand is classified as natural monument ... Logical, with a so beautiful and savage site ! The Fenstertürmchen is the centralest part of the Rappenwand site. On the south, you will find the biggest part, which is naming " Hauptgipfel " (main summit). On the north, you will meet the famous " Nordgrattürmchen " (northern tower), with her big top-panorama ! The southern and the central parts of the Rappenwand are separated with a very deep and impressive failure (or break) ! It's the reason, why the Rappenwand is very good known by the expert-climbers ! The shelter under rocks on the right side, is easy enough, to accessing ! Pedestrian traces are bringing you very steeply, but certainly, to this very magical natural-marvel ! From the main window, which is inclued into the rock, you can have a magnificient view on the neary Glasfels ! Another excellent climbing-rock, equally situated into the Glasental valley ... With two towers, and the breeding of peregrines falcons ...
